Commercial Analyst - Dandenong South, Melbourne
POSITION DESCRIPTION
This role sits within the Commercial team and plays a key part in understanding how the business performs - at a customer, service and portfolio level.
You’ll bring a strong pricing foundation, but your impact goes further: building commercial models, reviewing business performance and supporting leadership with data-driven insights that shape decisions.
You’ll work closely with Sales, Finance, Operations and senior stakeholders to turn complex data into clear commercial understanding.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Analysing pricing, margins and customer profitability across the business
Building commercial models and scenario analysis to support strategic decisions
Supporting pricing strategy and complex deal reviews where required
Producing deeper performance reviews across customers, services and regions
Identifying margin improvement, cost-to-serve and growth opportunities
Delivering clear, executive-ready insights and recommendations
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in commercial analysis, pricing, finance or business analytics
Strong financial and analytical capability, including modelling and scenario analysis
Advanced Excel skills (Power BI or similar tools a plus)
A strong understanding of margin, revenue drivers and cost structures
The ability to communicate complex insights clearly to senior stakeholders
Comfort working with ambiguity and imperfect data
A proactive, improvement-focused mindset
A degree in Finance, Business, Economics or a related field is preferred but not essential

Pricing Analyst - Dandenong South, Melbourne

You’ll work across pricing analysis, margin reporting and commercial modelling, partnering closely with Sales, Finance and Operations to turn data into decisions.

Identifying opportunities to improve pricing structures and revenue quality
Supporting sales activity with pricing models, scenarios and insights
Monitoring market and competitor pricing trends

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

Strong Excel capability (Power BI or similar tools a plus)
